Dr. Gordon B. Wesley, DBA, FACHE is a healthcare executive with more than two decades of leadership experience at the intersection of strategy, clinical integration, and organizational culture. He currently serves as Chief Strategy & Clinical Integration Officer for University of Chicago Medicine AdventHealth, where he leads enterprise strategy, brand, medical group alignment, and service line development in environments where outcomes carry real consequence.

Throughout his career, Dr. Wesley has been known for building trust across disciplines—particularly between physicians and healthcare leaders—by anchoring decisions in clarity, accountability, and shared standards. His leadership philosophy is rooted in the belief that credibility is not granted by title or visibility, but earned through consistent performance, integrity, and the ability to carry responsibility when it matters most.

A passionate mentor, he has guided professionals across all stages of their careers, helping them develop the discipline, mindset, and standards required to grow in complex and high-pressure environments. His work reflects a practical commitment to excellence—not as an abstract ideal, but as something lived daily through ownership, preparation, and follow-through.

Dr. Wesley holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Walden University, where his research focused on cardiovascular profitability and healthcare leadership. He also completed the Chief Strategy Officer Program at the Wharton Executive School and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, where he previously served as President of the Central Florida Chapter.

An Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran, Dr. Wesley credits the United States Army with shaping his early understanding of discipline and responsibility. Outside of his professional life, he is a dedicated bodybuilder and the 2023 Mr. Florida Masters champion, bringing the same principles of consistency, humility, and progressive growth into both physical and professional arenas.

Above all, he is a devoted husband and father to three daughters. It is in these roles that his standards are tested most honestly—and where the principles of Earned Exceptionalism matter most.
